ANOTHER leader of the militant Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) was killed yesterday morning in Cagayan, bringing to 57 the number of KMP militants killed since President Arroyo came to power. The total of extra judicial murders are now 791 since 2001 as of 11/27/2006
Anthony Licyayo, chairman of Alyansa Dagiti Manalon ti Cagayan (Kagimungan), shot dead at 25th Nov 2006 8:30 a.m. in Cabiraoan in Gonzaga, Cagayan. 2nd victim of suspected political killings this month in the province.

Roderick Aspili; United Workers of Surigao del Norte leader also murdered Nov. 21st 2006; and
Anthony Licyayo suffered a single gunshot to the back of his head; the 57th KMP leader murder; the 791st militant murdered since 2001 Licyayo was with his one-year-old daughter Jansen when he was ambushed by un-identified lone assailant wearing a white shirt. Local police did not responded to the incident the victim’s body was still at the crime scene as of 3 p.m. Prior to the killing, the military "had been looking for" Licyayo along with other farmer leaders Pasciani Payay, Albert Himmiwat, Roque France, and Vilma Mangili.
